On December 15, the bishops of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, the Church of England’s Diocese of Gibraltar in Europe, the Spanish Reformed Episcopal Church and the Lusitanian Catholic Apostolic Evangelical Church released an agreed document called the Porto Covenant, which commits them to consultation in electing new bishops and appointing clergy to serve in their geographically overlapping jurisdictions.
The House of Bishops' Theology Committee presented a in-progress report about white supremacy, responding to a call from Presiding Bishop Curry to develop resources to help the Episcopal Church become "Beloved Community."
