In a service marked by pageantry, prayers, and celebratory bagpipes, the Anglican Church in North America received its new Archbishop and Primate this week.
Archbishop Laurent Mbanda said the church he leads will be known as "The Anglican Church of Rwanda," and that removing the word "province" from the former name affirms that Anglican identity is found in "Biblical doctrine."
