Positions Offered

At Christ the King Episcopal Church, Santa Barbara, CA, our mission is to be “a community of people who glorify and serve Jesus Christ through the ministry of reconciliation.” We are grounded in that mission by a traditional reading of scripture and the creeds, and as a congregation with roots in the charismatic renewal, we look to the Holy Spirit to direct our way. At this time, we are a small, older, active and committed congregation. A close-knit community, half of us are involved in home groups, and in our ministry, we have a strong tradition of lay leadership. We are trusting our Lord to send us a rector who has a vital personal faith in Jesus, who will embrace the life of our church community, nurture our faith through Biblical preaching and teaching, and foster our growth in advancing God’s Kingdom in the world.
