A career change from nursing to accounting brought Ruth Schimmel to the Living Church Foundation in 2009 as the accounting/business assistant. She holds associate’s degrees in nursing and accounting, and received her bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2010 from Ottawa University. Mrs. Schimmel is responsible for the development and performance of the operating budget and daily fiscal matters. She oversees day-to-day office operations, payroll, expense control, human resources, accounting operations, and communication systems.
