The Living Church Books

Living Church Books, published by the Living Church Foundation, presents historical and theological materials for Anglican and other Christian readers. Rooted in the Episcopal Church and the wider Anglican Communion, the Living Church Foundation seeks to champion the catholic and evangelical faith of the one Church and to hasten the visible unity of all Christians.There are currently three volumes in print, which a fourth in production that will be available by June 2024.

The Living Word Plus

The Living Word Plus is a new paid-subscription email newsletter containing sermon resources to help engage the Revised Common Lectionary readings for the following Sunday. A much expanded version of the free version (see above), The Living Word Plus contains reflections on the lectionary, at least three contemporary sermons from gifted preachers around the world, excerpts from classic homiletical, theological, and devotional texts, and articles on relevant themes from the archives of The Living Church, Covenant, and the Living Church Institute.

Illuminations

Illuminations is a lector’s aid for Sunday worship to encourage congregational comprehension. Each weekly downloadable PDF guide provides concise introductions to the lessons as listed in the Prayer Book Lectionary and Revised Common Lectionary.

Anglicans Believe Pamphlet

Anglicans Believe is a series of pamphlets produced by The Living Church, focused on classic topics of Anglican theology, such as faith, prayer, and the Eucharist. The series has been written with the needs of Episcopal parishes in mind and can be put in the hands of newcomers, those preparing for baptism and confirmation, or anyone interested in deepening their faith.
