Volunteers Called to EYE Team

The Episcopal Church has issued a call for young adult and adult volunteers who wish to serve on the pastoral team for the 2017 Episcopal Youth Event in Edmond, Oklahoma. Volunteers may serve as chaplains, peer ministers, residential staff, or members of the medical team at the July 10-14 event.

According to the application, EYE17 volunteers must be willing to submit to a criminal background check, provide evidence of completing Safeguarding God’s Children training, demonstrate experience in supervision of teens at overnight gatherings, and be available for the entire retreat.

Volunteers are not paid and must provide their own transportation. The registration fee is waived in lieu of a $120 contribution for meals. Lodging is free.
