Two New Editors for ATR

Anglican Theological Review has appointed two theologians as co-editors in chief.

he Rev. Jason Fout, associate professor of Anglican theology at Bexley Seabury Seminary, and Scott MacDougall, assistant professor of theology at Church Divinity School of the Pacific, will begin their new work on Sept. 1.

TFout has served for several years as the journal’s associate editor, and is the author of Fully Alive: The Glory of God and the Human Creature in Karl Barth, Hans Urs von Balthasar and Theological Exegesis of Scripture (T&T Clark, 2015).

MacDougall is secretary of ATR’s board, and is the author of More than Communion: Imagining an Eschatological Ecclesiology (T&T Clark, 2015).

“Our Acting Editor in Chief and Editor Emerita, Ellen K. Wondra, will work closely with our new co-editors during their first several months of leadership,” wrote Roger Ferlo of Bexley Seabury. president of ATR’s board. “We all owe Ellen a tremendous debt of gratitude for her return from retirement to guide the journal with such grace and expertise over the past year and more, and for her willingness to work with Scott and Jason to ensure a smooth transition.”
