Prayers from Kirchentag

The Archbishop of Canterbury joined former President Barack Obama and Chancellor Angela Merkel on May 25 to assure the people of Manchester of prayers after the terrorist attack in their city.

Archbishop Justin Welby met with President Obama and Chancellor Merkel while attending the Kirchentag in Berlin.

The Kirchentag is Germany’s Protestant Church Assembly, and draws 150,000 people from around Germany and across the world. This year it falls on the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
