Kendall Martin, the Diocese of Virginia’s communications officer, will become the communications manager of Episcopal Migration Ministries Oct. 7.

Martin has served as editor of the Virginia Episcopalian, overseen digital communication outlets, provided communications support to parishes and ministries, and written the diocese’s grant applications.

“During her three years of service to our diocese, we have steadily added important responsibilities to Kendall’s portfolio,” said the Rt. Rev. Shannon Johnston, Bishop of Virginia. “I have enjoyed working with Kendall and am sorry to see her leave our staff. She will be missed. But I am delighted that she will continue to support our church in such a vitally important ministry as refugee resettlement.”
