The Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, executive officer of the General Convention, has announced that the Constitution, Canons, and Rules of Order of the Episcopal Church is now available in English.

A free PDF of the document is available, and a paper copy sells for $35 through CreateSpace. A Spanish translation of the digital file, now in progress, is expected to be available through the General Convention website by the end of March.

This edition incorporates all updates and revisions approved at the 78th General Convention, which met June 25–July 3 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. General Convention meets every three years, and is the bicameral governing body of the church. It is composed of the House of Bishops, with upwards of 200 active and retired bishops, and the House of Deputies, with clergy and lay deputies elected from the 108 dioceses and three regional areas of the church, at more than 800 members.
