5th Nominee in Central N.Y.

The Diocese of Central New York has announced a nominee by petition in the election of its 11th bishop. The Rev. Dena Cleaver-Bartholomew, rector of Christ Church in Manlius, New York, is the sole nominee from within the diocese.

The Rt. Rev. Gladstone B. “Skip” Adams announced in March 2015 that he intends to retire at the end of October 2016.

The other four nominees, announced May 2, are:

An electing convention is scheduled for Aug. 6. The consecration is scheduled for Dec. 3.
