New Dean for Bahrain

The Ven. Bill Schwartz, OBE, will expand his ministry in May to be the next dean of St. Christopher’s Anglican Cathedral in Manama, Bahrain.

St. Christopher’s is one of two equal-status cathedrals in the Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf. The other is St. Paul’s in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Schwartz will combine his new role with his existing ministry as archdeacon, “bringing to bear his wisdom and unrivaled experience in the region from this new location,” Bishop Michael Lewis said.
