Nashotah Welcomes Meacham

Nashotah House Theological Seminary will install its 20th dean and president and hear from historian Jon Meacham during its commencement week.

The Very Rev. Steven A. Peay will be installed as dean and president at 6 p.m. May 19 in Adams Hall, DeKoven Commons.

Meacham will speak at the seminary’s 170th commencement exercises, scheduled for 10 a.m. May 21 at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in Oconomowoc.

Meacham is executive editor and executive vice president at Random House and a contributing editor to Time. He won a 2009 Pulitzer Prize in 2009 for American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House.

A reception set for 3:30 p.m. May 20 will honor the Rev. Daniel Westberg on the publication of Renewing Moral Theology: Christian Ethics As Action, Character and Grace.

Nashotah asks that guests register for the events.
