Minnesota Extends Search Timeline

The Rt. Rev. Brian N. Prior, Bishop of the Episcopal Church in Minnesota, and the Rev. Deborah Brown, president of its Standing Committee, announce an extended timeline in the search for Prior’s successor:

After consultation and deliberation, it has been determined that the original timeline proposed for the bishop search process will be extended.

The election of the 10th Bishop for the Episcopal Church in Minnesota will take place on January 25th of 2020. The consecration will held on June 6th of 2020.

Bishop Prior will continue in his role until the 10th Bishop has been consecrated.
