The Bishop’s Committee on the Diaconate in the Diocese of North Carolina has compiled a deacon’s manual that covers such topics as discernment, formation, ordination, and ministry.

The Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple interviewed the Rev. Deacon Jan Lamb as part of the diocese’s Please Note series.

The manual is available through the diocese’s website.

GAFCON Blasts Welby for Endorsement of Gay Sex

The GAFCON Primates’ Council rebuked Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby for stating in a recent podcast interview that he believes that sex within any “committed relationship, straight or gay,” is moral, which they call an “explicit repudiation of Christian doctrine.”
