James Turrell Named Dean of Theology at Sewanee

James F. Turrell

Sewanee, the University of the South, has announced that the Rev. Canon Dr. James F. Turrell, a longtime liturgy professor and associate dean, will be the next dean of the School of Theology, beginning July 1, 2020.

He will succeed the Rt. Rev. Dr. J. Neil Alexander, who has served as dean for eight years.
