‘God’s Justice’ Draft Ready for ACC-17

A working group convened by the International Anglican Women’s Network (IAWN) has completed a draft of God’s Justice: Just Relationships between Women and Men, Girls and Boys, a new teaching tool.

The working group met at St. Julian’s Centre in Limuru, Kenya, from March 11 to 15. The draft will be presented to the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC-17) when it meets in Hong Kong from April 28 to May 5.

These are the members of the working group:

  • Carole Hughes of Auckland, New Zealand
  • Kwok Pui-Lan, distinguished visiting professor of theology at Candler School of Theology, Atlanta
  • The Rev. Canon Professor Dorothy Lee, Stewart Research Professor, Trinity College Theological School, Parkville, Australia
  • The Very Rev. Gloria Mapangdol, dean and president, St. Andrew’s Theological Seminary, Manila, Philippines
  • Esther Mombo, associate professor, faculty of theology, Limuru, Kenya
  • Paula Nesbitt, visiting professor of sociology of religion, Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, Calif.
  • Terrie Robinson, director for women in church and society, Anglican Communion Office, London
  • Stephen Spencer, director for theological education in the Anglican Communion, Anglican Communion Office, London
  • Paulo Ueti, Anglican Alliance theological adviser, Anglican Communion Office
  • Gerald O. West, senior professor in religion, philosophy, and classics, School of Religion at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa
