El Salvador Elects Alvarado

Susana Barrera writes for Equilibrium (adapted from Google Translate):

The Anglican Church of El Salvador has chosen the Rev. David Alvarado as its new diocesan bishop. This was the second episcopal election carried out in the 84-year life of this ecclesiastical institution.

Alvarado, 52, is married to the Rev. Irma Alvarado, with whom he has fathered two children.
