Archdeacon Harding |
The Cathedral of All Saints in Albany, New York, announces its call of the Ven. Leander S. Harding as its 21st dean, beginning on Palm Sunday:
Before his call to St. Luke’s, Catskill, [Archdeacon] Harding was the Dean of Church Relations and Seminary Advancement, and Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology, at the Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Fr. Harding earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Literary Criticism from New College, in Sarasota, Florida; his Master of Divinity degree, with honors, from the Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, Massachusetts; and his doctorate from Boston College’s Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry, in Chestnut Hill, MA.
[Archdeacon] Leander Harding’s call completes a thirteen–month process of discernment undertaken by the Cathedral Chapter of whom God was calling to lead and pastor to the Cathedral of All Saints worshipping community. We are so very grateful for the Cathedral family’s patience, perseverance, and prayers that surrounded and supported all of our efforts. Please join us in welcoming Father Harding, his wife Claudia, and their son Edgar, as we recommit ourselves to the mission and ministries we so proudly cherish at the Cathedral of All Saints, the mother church of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany.
