Daniel Westberg’s Funeral

Nashotah House has scheduled the funeral for the Rev. Daniel R. Westberg, professor of ethics and moral theology, who died in a boating accident Oct. 18 on Upper Nashotah Lake.

The service will begin at 11 a.m. Oct. 28 at Adams Hall, and lunch will follow in the refectory. Nashotah House welcomes donations in Professor Westberg’s memory.

Matthew Townsend is a Halifax-based freelance journalist and volunteer advocate for survivors of sexual misconduct in Anglican settings. He served as editor of the Anglican Journal from 2019 to 2021 and communications missioner for the Anglican Diocese of Quebec from 2019 to 2022. He and his wife recently entered catechism class in the Orthodox Church in America.
