Cuban Bishop Dies at 92

The Diocese of Southeast Florida has announced the death of the Rt. Rev. Emilio Hernandez, the sixth Bishop of Cuba. The bishop died of cancer on April 19. He was 92.

His son, Alejandro, is rector of Iglesia Todos Los Santos in Miami.

The Rt. Rev. Peter Eaton, Bishop of Southeast Florida, will preside at a funeral for Bishop Hernandez at noon April 28 at Todos Los Santos, 1023 S.W. 27th Ave., Miami.
