The Standing Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast’s standing committee has announced its slate of nominees as the diocese seeks its fourth bishop.

The Rt. Rev. Philip M. Duncan II has served as the diocese’s third bishop since 2001. He announced in July 2013 that he planned to retire.

The four nominees are:

The diocese will accept nominees by petition until December 11. The diocesan convention will elect when it meets in February.
