Bishop Parsons Dies at 94

The Rt. Rev. Keith Ackerman, 8th Bishop of Quincy, writes at Forward in Faith North America’s weblog about the death of Bishop Donald Parsons on Monday night:

It is with profound sorrow and deep regrets that I inform you of the death of the Right Reverend Donald James Parsons, 6th Bishop of Quincy, former Dean of Nashotah House, and Mentor to generations of priests. … May he rest in peace and rise in glory. Please pray for the repose of his soul and for his children, Mary, Rebecca and Brad.
