Bishop Mayer: Pray for Bishop Iker

Please email comments to letters@livingchurch.org.

Bishop James Scott Mayer, provisional bishop of the Episcopal Church’s Diocese of Fort Worth, asks prayers for Bishop Jack Iker of the Diocese of Fort Worth affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America:

I write to ask your prayers for Bishop Jack Iker, who is undergoing treatment for cancer. Please pray for Donna and their children and grandchildren and for all who love them. Pray for his medical care team, that they may make wise decisions to insure the best possible care and outcome. Pray for his staff as they support him through this time. Let us all remember them in our daily prayers as they move through this tender time.

And may the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be upon him and remain with him forever. Amen.
