ARCIC Releases Agreed Statement

The third Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission released its latest agreed statement on July 2. Philippa Hitchen of Vatican Radio reported in May 2017 that the document was being prepared.

Walking Together on the Way: Learning to Be the Church—Local, Regional, Universal is the first document produced by ARCIC in 13 years.

Matthew Townsend is a Halifax-based freelance journalist and volunteer advocate for survivors of sexual misconduct in Anglican settings. He served as editor of the Anglican Journal from 2019 to 2021 and communications missioner for the Anglican Diocese of Quebec from 2019 to 2022.
