Albright to Speak at VTS

Please email comments to letters@livingchurch.org.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will address the role of faith in policymaking at a forum at Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) on Sunday, September 25, 2016.

Ten years ago Albright wrote The Mighty and The Almighty, which “explored the constructive part that religion can play in domestic and foreign policy and the necessity for politicians and policy makers to engage with and understand religion,” according to a statement from VTS. In this address, and in conversation with a panel of women leaders, Albright will discuss how she would write this book in 2016.

The evening will begin with Evensong hosted by Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill, Alexandria. The free event is part of the 2016-2017 “Women of the Communion” program of the Center for Anglican Communion Studies, is hosted in partnership with Immanuel, and is part of the Mollegen Forum series.
