The Rt. Rev. Poulson Reed was consecrated the 6th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma on May 30, 2020, at Saint Paul’s Cathedral, Oklahoma City, with fewer than 25 people present, because of the COVID pandemic. Before his election, Poulson served as rector of All Saints’ Episcopal Church and Day School in Phoenix, Arizona (2009-2020), and as a curate, canon, and sub-dean at Saint John’s Cathedral, Denver (2002-2009). He received his MDiv from Yale Divinity School, and a BA from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the Order of the Ascension, a dispersed Benedictine community with a focus on congregational development.

Poulson’s wife, Megan Reed, is a classically trained tuba player, and a music teacher for students of all ages. They have three boys: David, Thomas, and Matthew.
