When a page displays a term in blue text, you can see a glossary definition by hovering the mouse over the term.
TLC‘s glossary is a work in progress. Definitions tend to be Episcopal-centric, reflecting the primary audience. However, TLC has been steadily expanding its coverage of the global church, and when terms are used differently in different parts of the Anglican Communion, the glossary definitions attempt to account for that.
The Episcopal Church also has a glossary, with its own advantages and disadvantages. The TEC glossary includes 2,647 terms, organized alphabetically, 20 to a page. This is more comprehensive, but the format makes browsing impractical, and glossary terms are not automatically highlighted on web pages.
Suggestions for additions or changes to the TLC glossary can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
