The School of Theology of the University of the South, a seminary of the Episcopal Church, invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible, beginning July 2024. The successful candidate will be an effective teacher and scholar who can equip students with skills to engage critically with the texts of the Old Testament. The strongest candidates will hold a Ph.D. or Th.D. in Religious Studies or a relevant field with a demonstrated specialization in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible.
