Kevin Eckstrom, chief communications officer at Washington National Cathedral, sat down with G. Jeffrey MacDonald of TLC to discuss his hopes about the next presiding bishop.

Evangelism, he said, should be a key focus of the next presiding bishop — especially an evangelism that speaks in plain, captivating language. Eckstrom, who previously served as editor-in-chief of Religion News Service, also addressed the potential effect of marriage-liturgy changes across the Anglican Communion.
