Take Heart, Gift Hunters

If you have trouble finding gifts for the discerning Episcopalian in your life, The Living Church is here to help. Here is a sample offering from TLC’s annual feature of gift ideas:

Donald Bolen
Before his death in early November, Leonard Cohen released You Want It Darker. He knew he
had cancer and several of the
songs on this album reflect that he was clearly preparing to die. Despite a long period in a Buddhist monastery and a long fascination with Jesus, Leonard was Jewish to his core, and generously invites the hearer into his penetrating dialogue with God. Not light Christmas fare, but for the searcher, Leonard brings blessings.
The Rt. Rev. Donald Bolen is Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Regina.
