Labin Duke is executive vice president for institutional advancement at Nashotah House Theological Seminary, a newly created role in which he will serve alongside president and provost Garwood Anderson.

Duke comes to Nashotah House from Baylor University, where he served as director of donor relations beginning in 2016. In that role, he engaged new and existing supporters while serving a team that consistently exceeded donation revenue targets.

“Mr. Duke brings considerable experience to Nashotah House to become the chief officer of external affairs, overseeing the seminary’s development, alumni, marketing, and recruitment efforts,” said the Rev. Canon Edward R. Monk, chairman of Nashotah House’s board of directors.

“It would be hard to imagine a more exceptional addition to our team,” Anderson said. “Labin brings a track record of success at the highest level, seemingly boundless energy, and, as an Anglican Christian, a deep passion for our mission.”

“The church desperately needs leaders who have been thoroughly formed in orthodoxy,” Duke said. “No one is doing this like Nashotah House. The community life here within a model of Benedictine spirituality is extremely rare. Alumni, students, and supporters already know the treasure hidden here. Now it’s time to tell Nashotah’s story more broadly and boldly.”
