Anglican Student Ministries at Baylor University will sponsor “C.S. Lewis and the Intellectual Life,” a four-lecture series, during Lent.
Each lecture will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Brooks Residential College’s Robbins Chapel and will be followed by Compline.
The schedule of lecturers and their topics:
- Feb. 25 — “Becoming Charitable: The Four Loves and Beyond” by Toby Coley, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, Texas
- March 4 — “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Way of the Lion” by Alan Jacobs, Baylor University
- March 18 — “Strangeness, Beauty, and Wonder: The Science Fiction Trilogy” by Michael Travers, Oklahoma Baptist University
- March 25 — “The Abolition of Man and the Challenge of a ‘Regenerate Science’” by Phillip Donnelly, Baylor University
