We hope you will find here first-rate, independent news of the Church: news of the Episcopal Church, the Anglican Communion, and the universal Body of Christ. And we hope as well that you will find a thoughtful environment in which to engage in reflective reading and conversation that may aid in spiritual and intellectual growth. We pray that what you read and write may in turn strengthen our common life in some way — the true worship and witness of communion in the Lord.
As Christian communicators, our mission is to connect true knowledge of God and holiness, so that we “may be sanctified in truth,” in the word of truth, which is Jesus himself (John 17:19). The power of Christian mission flows from this source, since the world will believe through our word (17:20). For this reason, whether we are speaking together, in love, becomes a condition of evangelistic success (17:22-23; see 15:17).
If you wish to learn more about who we are and what we believe, please read our short history, visit the Foundation and staff pages, and peruse our vision statement. To join the conversation, please comment on articles here, or visit our weblog, Covenant, and dive in.
May the Lord richly bless you this day, and always!
