Jon Adamson lives in rural Cass County, Michigan, just north of the state line from Indiana with his wife, Hollie, and their two boys, Benjamin and William. His work experience was primarily in the construction trades, but he was hired to serve on the staff of the Diocese of Northern Indiana in 2007 as the secretary to the bishop. His family has worshiped at St. Paul’s in Mishawaka, Indiana, since 1998 and he has served the parish as a member of its vestry and as its senior warden.
His recent interests include congregational development, the Rule of St. Benedict, and various Patristic works. He enjoys reading G.K. Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Dorothy Sayers, and Walker Percy. The bulk of his time at home in the evenings is spent with his wife planning their homeschool curriculum and domestic church activities. His maternal grandparents are Roman Catholic and his paternal grandmother is Episcopalian and they live nearby. He credits them as providing the compass of his spiritual formation.
