Father Jody is a priest in the Diocese of Tennessee, where he serves as rector of St. Joseph of Arimathea Episcopal Church in Hendersonville. Ordained in 2006, Fr. Jody is a native of Asheville, North Carolina, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Asheville, and the University of the South School of Theology.
Since being ordained, Fr. Jody has served at Trinity Episcopal Church in Winchester, Tennessee, as vicar of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Goodlettsville (a church plant), and has overseen the unification of St. Francis with St. Joseph of Arimathea. Fr. Jody has also served as the Ecumenical Officer of the Diocese, a member of the Bishop and Council, the Cathedral Chapter, the Christian Formation Commission, the Evangelism & Congregational Development Commission, and as an Examining Chaplain. He is also one of the clergy deputies from Tennessee to General Convention 2015.
Fr. Jody is married to Anna, and the father of Eli. He finds the greatest joy in his life in being a husband, father and priest.
