Leander S. Harding is entering his fourth decade as a priest of the Episcopal Church. He received a B.A. in religion and literary criticism from New College, Sarasota Florida, the M.Div cum laude from Andover Newton Theological School and a Ph.D. from the Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry at Boston College.
After 26 years in parish ministry, he joined the faculty of Trinity School for ministry, where he was associate professor of Pastoral Theology and Dean of Seminary Advancement. In 2013, he returned to parish ministry and is the rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Catskill, NY. He is also an Archdeacon in the Diocese of Albany.
He is a regular contributor to The Living Church. Leander has been married to Claudia Harding for over 40 years, and they have three adult sons.
