Every day last week, folks at St. Peter’s-on-the-Prairie Episcopal Church in Tollville, Ark., kneaded, rolled, filled, crimped, and fried pies by the hundreds. Chocolate, coconut, apple, apricot, pecan … What started as a small, local fundraiser 35 years ago has grown, and now orders come in from across central Arkansas.
